Today’s Skinny Motivation comes in the form of Reese Witherspoon. Reese is one of the celebrities that we can actually see working out. She looks wonderful in a dress on the red carpet and doesn’t look bad while she’s working up a sweat! I wish I looked this good when I ran!

-
First Impression- I opened up the very light packet of Oreo Thin Crisps and I was actually surprised at how many there were. I figured there would be ten little crisps packed in there but Nabisco did me a favor and actually put in enough to make me full! The hexagons are very cute and I loved the little sugar specks on top.
-
Taste- It’s chocolate! I was so shocked at how much chocolate could be packed into one little crisp. When eating a normal oreo, the cookie part is my favorite so this was an awesome treat. I did not miss the cream filling at all and since each crisp packed such a flavorful punch, I was able to savor the treat for almost 30 minutes!
-
Consistency- Just like the name states, this Oreo is crispy! It has a nice little crunch to it. It is nothing like a crunchy potato chip but the whole cookie just seems to be perfect.
-
Nutrition- 100 calories and 2 grams of fat. While the product has 9 grams of sugar it is still a pretty good option for a treat. On my Weight Watchers program, it tallies up to 2 points. I really enjoyed these so much that I see myself not only eating them again but buying them again! 8/10 Rating! If these little guys didn’t have so much sugar then they would come in with a perfect score!

This week went pretty well food wise and I only had a few slip ups. If you read my blog earlier, you would see that I joined Weight Watchers Online yesterday. The website is amazing and I cannot wait to use my 3 months to their full advantage! My Weigh Ins will be on Saturday so thats when I will do them on here. As of today, I have lost 2.8 pounds since last week. I am surprised since I did have slip ups but it just proves that its the overall week that counts. Don’t beat yourself up over one bad item, move on and everything will be fine! I am going to the groccery store today to load up on low point items and its pretty exciting!
Weight loss to date: 9.8 lbs (the 10 lb mark is near!!)

It’s that time of the year again… time to stock up on fatty candies that we all can admit we love. Its hard to stay focused on your diet whenever there are bowls of candy everywhere you turn. Here are some tips to help on Halloween:
- Buy Candy You DON’T Like! By purchasing candies you hate, you won’t want to eat them at all! If you are a fruity fan, stock up on chocolate. It’s easy, just buy the bag of candy you would never touch. Do you like all candy? Then try stocking up on toys like tattoos, pencils, and erasers. Its diet friendly for you and the youngsters!
- Do you want just ONE bite? Many people believe that since the Halloween candy is ‘mini’ then they can eat two or three and be ok. The truth is, you are more inclined to eat more candy with fun sizes than you are with a normal sized candy bar. It may sound crazy but a fun size Butterfinger packs in 100 calories and 4 grams of fat!! If your looking for that one bite, try mini tootsie rolls and twizzlers. Both are low in fat and won’t add inches to your waistline.
- Don’t Beat Yourself Up- Ok… so you had a fun sized candy bar, or two, or maybe even three. But that doesn’t mean everything is out the window. Pick yourself up and throw the wrappers in the garbage bin. Then, sit down and write down why you ate the candy. Were you hungry? thirsty? bored? Figure out why it happened and then you can prevent it when it happens again!

Heather is a great, healthy role model and has three secrets that help her keep her toned figure.
-
Never Say Diet- The word ‘diet’ does not exist in Heather’s vocabulary. She believes that you should eat both healthy and often. “My friends laugh at me because I love to cook and I eat a lot.”
-
Stand Up For Whats Right- Heather is a huge advocate for women’s issues and she believes that women should have all the same rights as any one else. “I’m big for girl power”
-
Workout- Since Heather enjoys food so much, she has to counteract it with workouts. She enjoys almost daily workouts such as yoga and pilates.

Monday’s does of motivation comes in the form of Jessica Biel! She is constantly photographed exercising and buying fresh veggies at Farmers Markets. In my opinion, she has the absolute perfect body. She sure does motivate me to do my squats!

I have a great website saved under my favorites and its really fun to use when your losing weight. It was a BMI calculator and it tells you what percentile you fall into for your weight, height, and age. Its really fun to play around with and you can put in your goal weight to see how much further you have to go!

It’s important to eat 5 servings of fruit and vegetables a day but sometimes reaching for celery instead of cookies is a hard task. So, here are some tips to help up that healthy dosage:
-
Add fruit to everyday items such as cereal, oatmeal, and even in non fat yogurt.
-
Replace sodas with 100% juice
-
Munch on crunchy vegetables instead of chips or pretzels
-
Fill up your plate with half vegetables and downsize your portions of carbs and protein
-
Always keep fruits and veggies handy- its easier to eat when their easier to reach!
-
Eat berries or melons for dessert
-
Munch on frozen fruit, wild frozen blueberries are my favorite!

Product Review for Yoplait Light!
- First Impression- I started my sample with the Apple Turnover flavor. When I first ripped off the pink lid (great for helping breast cancer!) I took a deep sniff and was overwhelmed! It smelled just like a warm, fresh, apple turnover with cinnamon. I smiled from ear to ear but then I looked at the color: off white. I’m not sure why but I had pictured a bright colored yogurt… not this off white one.
- Taste- My first bite of this yogurt was pretty good. The second one was a little better and after that it just all stayed the same. I had set myself up for failure by focusing on the smell because this yogurt does not taste like it smells. It was good but at the same time a little disappointing.
- Consistency- For a light yogurt, this had a pretty good consistency. It wasn’t think like FAGE yogurt but it wasn’t thin like Dannon Light and Fit. Goldie Locks would have loved it.
- Nutrition- 100 calories and zero fat. Sounds pretty good but I was a little upset when I read the ingredients. HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) is listed on the ingredients. No wonder it tasted so sweet! If it didn’t have that ingredient I would give it a 9/10 overal but because that little bad boy snuck its way in it gets a respectable 7/10 rating. I would eat it again, but only as a treat.
