Today’s product review is on Vitatops! Vitatops are basically the top of a muffin that you can find in the frozen section of many stores.
First Impression- I chose to review the Deep Chocolate flavor and at first glance, these look wonderful! They are a deep dark color and even have chocolate chips dispersed evenly along the top. The size is semi-large, I would compare it to the size of a store bought muffin (minus the bottom).
Taste- Wow! The taste of these muffin tops are fantastic! I can taste real chocolate and it quenches any craving you might have for chocolate. The chocolate is so rich that I had to take tiny bites which made the vitatop last for quite some time. I love treats that I am able to savor for awhile!
Consistency- To thaw my Vitatop, I put it in the microwave for a little over thirty seconds. I was afraid that thawing them would make it taste funny but it was delicious. The muffin was moist and the top of the Vitatop had a thicker layer of chocolate that just seemed to melt in my mouth. The occasional chocolate chip is also a really nice surprise for your taste buds!
Nutrition- One large Vitatop packs in 100 calories, 1.5 grams of fat, 6 grams of fiber, and 4 grams of protein. These are great stats and if you are counting Points, they come to a low one point. The actual muffin is made with whole wheat flour and organic evaporated can juice so that’s a plus. The only downside to these excellent sources of calcium and 15 vitamins and minerals is that they have 10 grams of sugar. The ingredients have organic evaporated cane juice, sugar, and dried honey. I personally thought they could have cut down on the sugar but I guess that’s what makes them such a treat.
9/10 Rating! I loved how great the chocolate was and the only thing keeping it from a 10/10 are the three sources of sugar! Even though they are pricey, I will buy them again!

-
First Impression- I opened up the very light packet of Oreo Thin Crisps and I was actually surprised at how many there were. I figured there would be ten little crisps packed in there but Nabisco did me a favor and actually put in enough to make me full! The hexagons are very cute and I loved the little sugar specks on top.
-
Taste- It’s chocolate! I was so shocked at how much chocolate could be packed into one little crisp. When eating a normal oreo, the cookie part is my favorite so this was an awesome treat. I did not miss the cream filling at all and since each crisp packed such a flavorful punch, I was able to savor the treat for almost 30 minutes!
-
Consistency- Just like the name states, this Oreo is crispy! It has a nice little crunch to it. It is nothing like a crunchy potato chip but the whole cookie just seems to be perfect.
-
Nutrition- 100 calories and 2 grams of fat. While the product has 9 grams of sugar it is still a pretty good option for a treat. On my Weight Watchers program, it tallies up to 2 points. I really enjoyed these so much that I see myself not only eating them again but buying them again! 8/10 Rating! If these little guys didn’t have so much sugar then they would come in with a perfect score!

Product Review for Yoplait Light!
- First Impression- I started my sample with the Apple Turnover flavor. When I first ripped off the pink lid (great for helping breast cancer!) I took a deep sniff and was overwhelmed! It smelled just like a warm, fresh, apple turnover with cinnamon. I smiled from ear to ear but then I looked at the color: off white. I’m not sure why but I had pictured a bright colored yogurt… not this off white one.
- Taste- My first bite of this yogurt was pretty good. The second one was a little better and after that it just all stayed the same. I had set myself up for failure by focusing on the smell because this yogurt does not taste like it smells. It was good but at the same time a little disappointing.
- Consistency- For a light yogurt, this had a pretty good consistency. It wasn’t think like FAGE yogurt but it wasn’t thin like Dannon Light and Fit. Goldie Locks would have loved it.
- Nutrition- 100 calories and zero fat. Sounds pretty good but I was a little upset when I read the ingredients. HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) is listed on the ingredients. No wonder it tasted so sweet! If it didn’t have that ingredient I would give it a 9/10 overal but because that little bad boy snuck its way in it gets a respectable 7/10 rating. I would eat it again, but only as a treat.
